This animated short "Serenity" was created for my Final Project for my Animation Course in 2023. "Serenity" is about sleepy lonesome bird who gets caught in the rain - however with the help of kindness and companionship found in another bird, the two are able to brave the storm together, being each others star under the night sky.
I created this animated short for a final project in my Intro to Animation course. Using Adobe Photoshop, I drew still images for the backgrounds and animated the birds, rain, and leaves on top of the background. To create the full short, I used After Effects to stitch the animated scenes together, as well as implementing the music to be in time with the animation. The music was created by a friend of mine, Max Matni. Listening to his song is what inspired me to create this animation.
